Innere Stadt is Vienna’s historic core and the most convenient place to stay for sightseeing. From here you can walk to headline attractions like St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Hofburg, the Spanish Riding School, the State Opera, and many of the city’s best museums—often in 5–20 minutes.
